Kathryn believes that learning a new language should be a positive and engaging journey. She draws on a wide variety of teaching experience and contexts having worked with children, young adults and adults in Indonesia, Turkey, Australia and Canada. A certified teacher, as well as an experienced EAL teacher, she is familiar with different learning styles, and is especially interested in how home language usage can support learning in a second (or third or fourth!) language. She creates a supportive and challenging environment to help students grow as learners and meet their goals.
